Biography:
Roy Harper, known as Arsenal, is a character featured in The CW's Arrowverse television series, Arrow. He first appears in Season 1, Episode 2, "Honor Thy Father."
Initially a street thug, Roy is taken under the wing of Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) and trained as his protégé. He becomes a masked vigilante, eventually adopting the codename Arsenal. He is injected with the Mirakuru serum, granting him enhanced strength and healing, but also uncontrollable rage.
Roy develops a romantic relationship with Oliver's sister, Thea Queen. He leaves Team Arrow to protect them, and fakes his death to throw off authorities. He returns to Star City occasionally to assist the team when needed, eventually leaving for good to start a new life.
